Focusing only on the first 4 ‘P’s (Purpose, Product, Participants, Possible Issues), what steps will you take to prepare for the first two-hour meeting of what will be a series of meetings over the next five weeks for a group of volunteer committee members to identify new fundraising and donation opportunities for their local food bank? Potential participants include the Executive Director, the Board President, Vice President, committee members, as well as potential donors, local public officials and food bank staff. How will you go about determining the meeting purpose and product/outcomes? Be sure to include your suggestion for a realistic purpose and product for the first meeting. Who should participate in the first meeting (see possible attendee list above)? Then identify some of the possible issues and how you will address them.
