Describe three strategies by which a filmmaker can author AUTHENTICITY in non-fiction media.

In paragraph form, answer the following questions. When answering, be sure to include examples from specific media (films, video art, commercials, television programs, etc). It would make sense to refer to the many excerpts of media works screened during the Lectures and in your Sections. If you are citing from a reading or article, be sure to include the citation in your answer.

3. Fourth Wall

Provide an analysis of two artists/filmmakers who break the fourth-wall as a means to generate a mediated connection between maker and viewer. What strategies do the artists use to convey a transformation of our relationships with media space, cinema space, or public space?
