The Scenario
You work in the IT department of a large corporation. Management would like to explore a move to cloud computing. Your supervisor has asked you to write a brief report for management that summarizes how some other organizations are using cloud computing.
Your Assignment
Your task is to investigate and provide examples of how and why other organizations are using cloud computing. Three references are provided below, but you should also perform your own research to find additional case studies.
Use two of the provided references in addition to two sources that you find. After reading the sources, summarize your findings in a brief report. Include at least three examples from the case studies of why organizations have moved to the cloud and the benefits that were derived from the move. List all sources used at the end of your report. Be sure to list enough information about each source so that the reader of your report will be able to access it. You will receive feedback on your rough draft, incorporate the feedback and submit the final report due by the end of module 5. The report needs to be submitted in Blackboard in a Microsoft Word Document.
