General Layout of the term paper
Figures (total number) (illustrative figures – at least 3 and a maximum of 5 figures must be included.
Figure captions introducing each figure must be added below the figure, and a reference to that figure must be placed at the end of the figure caption.
• Figures resolution (figures have to be copied and pasted in the proposal as a bitmap/jpeg/jpg formats. Avoid squeezing or stretching the figures).
• Font and general layout (Generally The term paper should have a cover page, the general word document layout should be: paper size A4, font 12, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing and 1’ margin from each side).
• Grammar and language (the language and grammar have to be checked by the student before submission. Students are encouraged to contact the writing center at AUC for technical assistance).
Total number of pages must not exceed 10 pages.
References (References have to be placed at the end of the paper in a separate section, and follow the American Chemical Society (ACS) style).
