What did you find most interesting about this topic?

• The war for independence.

Reason : There are three phases which were New England (first phase), the mid-atlantic region (second phase) and the south (final phase). During the first phase, British dig in for the winter and both countries back and forth until the battle over. There were bunker as well and called battle of bunker hill. I was interested because how the British overcome from the battle.

What new insights/knowledge did you learn about this topic?

• Women’s rights and women’s roles.

Reason : After war ends, women came out right away. They left in charge of farms and businesses. Also, Large populations of impoverished women which is “camp followers”. In addition, in this moment women also called as combat.

Question #3

What comparisons/contrasts can you draw between American life then and now.

• Women’s rights and women’s roles.

Reason : I think this was the reason why modern society saying that women have power. They were so weak before the war and without any hopes. However, in current society, sometimes, women have more power than men. During the 1781, the revolution makes women more powerful until now and then.

What issue or area of your topic do you think is the most historically important, and why?

• Women’s rights and women’s roles.

Same as previous questions. Women’s got power and that causes the society more healthy which is without any discrimination like racism.
