This week you will be putting together ideas of how you will plan a lesson. Using the information in your textbook, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and a textbook idea from the subject you plan to teach, plan a lesson you could teach. Make sure to include details, resources, and materials you would need to implement this lesson plan. Things to consider are:
1. What do the TEKS for this subject require to be covered? Use this link to explore the TEKS website: https://www.teksresourcesystem.net/module/standards/tools/search/.
2. What can I focus on using at least one TEK per lesson? Can I plan using multiple TEKS in this lesson?
3. What resources will I need for any activity I plan to do? Do I need a computer, paper, pencils, colors, manipulatives? Does each student need a set?
4. How long do I have for this lesson and is it going to work if I have to finish another day?
Here is your Deliverable for the Dropbox:
Write a lesson plan with details of what the student will be able to do by the end of the lesson. Tell me what materials they will need, what background information they will need to know, and what their assignment will be. Tell me which TEKS are covered, the subject and grade level for the lesson, and where this falls on the Bloom’s Taxonomy hierarchy
