You will make notes while watching the movie paying attention to dialog, setting, characterization etc. You will connect all of this to what you have learnt in the various chapters of the textbook. the paper should be about 2000 words to 3000 words (or 8 – 12 pages double spaced). Please review the Movie Review Paper grading rubric at the end of the syllabus. In the paper:

  1. You will discuss the sociological and historical context of the movie. When was the movie filmed? which period in history does it portray? Who were the actors? What was happening in society at the time this movie was made? What was its impact on society once it was released?
