Step 2

Research and answer the following questions regarding your selected disorder:

What is the disorder’s history/background?
The origin of the disorder
The first documented cases or famous cases
What are the causes?
What are the diagnostic criteria?
How can the disorder be treated?
Types of treatment
How the treatments work
Which treatments are most effective?
How does this disorder affect a person’s daily life?
Finally, offer a personal insight or reflection
How does what you’ve learned about the disorder impact your understanding of psychology?
OPTIONAL: Do you have any personal experience or connection with the disorder that you would like to share?

Step 3

Create a PowerPoint Presentation with a minimum of 12 slides (10 slides of content in addition to a cover slide and reference slide) to cover the areas researched. You are required to include detailed and factual information. At least three credible sources are to be used.

The completed PowerPoint presentation should include:

Cover slide: Including name, instructor name, disorder, date
Research Project: Minimum of 10 slides of content, covering important and vital information about the disorder. In-text citations are required.
References Slide: State all sources used for research, a minimal of three.
