Your friend has been scrolling through Twitter and comes to you complaining that feminists are against men and shouldn’t be taken seriously. Respond to your friend’s accusations that 1) feminists are against men and 2) shouldn’t be taken seriously. Be sure to explain what feminism is using material from the class. While you can use the course materials to help you, you should be sure to explain the main concepts, ideas, and examples in your own words. Include as much information as you can to address your friend’s criticism. Your response should be at least 500 words, but no more than 750 words (approximately 2 to 3 pages, but focus on staying within the word count). Be sure to identify, explain, and analyze the important information in your response. You must use at least 2 sources from the course, at least one of which must be a text or article from class. Include a works cited or bibliography page and in text citations in your work.

I encourage you to write a strong thesis, organize your evidence using the tools from class, remember your audience, and revise your work for accuracy and clarity before submitting your final draft.
