Establishing Problems Discussion

Overview: Do you want more problems in your life? I don’t. You can assume most members of your audience will resist accepting the problem you will tell them about as well, so you need to practice persuading them that they should care. The purpose of this assignment is to encourage you to do a preliminary brainstorm/early rough draft of the problem section of the Final Research Paper assignment. After reading the materials on the Establishing Problems page, I want you to  describe the problem you will attempt to solve in your Final Research Paper. This discussion should reveal that you have developed your idea beyond your Discussion #9 posting in which you presented your initial idea for the Final Research Paper. Instructions: (There are wo main parts to this assignment)  250+ words 1. Establishing the problem you have chosen for your Final Research Paper. -Describe the problem in some detail. What is it a problem ? What are the causes of this problem? -Explain to your audience specific reasons why they should be concerned about this problem. Why should we care? -Include at least two sources from your research to back up and illustrate your ideas, using MLA format. 2. Respond to at least two other students postings.  Respond in entries of 125+ words to two or more postings. Comment on the problem and the way in which the author has described it. Are you convinced that there is a problem? Why? If so, what reasoning and/or support did the author use that convinced you to accept the problem? If you were not persuaded that the problem is a serious one, how and why did the author fail to convince you? Feel free to share counterarguments that reject that the problem exists: you will be helping the author to identify counterarguments to refute in the Final Research Paper. Are there other ways the author could have presented the problem that might have convinced you that a real problem exists?   I have attached my entry for Discussion #9 along with feedback from the professor on what I need to correct. Also, are 4  sources I have used for discussions #10 & #11
