Retail Security  Task 1- Choose the topic (Marriot Data Breach)  Task 2. Explain how you will investigate the incident by tracing back to how it was allowed to occur to discovery that it did, and whether it is ongoing.         Specify the actus reus and mens rea of the crime/incident, the laws violated, and what  evidence you will need to collect to prove the crime. Task 3. Indicate the security procedures and tactics in place at the time of the incident. a. Specify which aspects of the current security were adequate, and b. Specify which aspects failed to prevent the incident/crime from occurring and why. Task 4. Propose a new security plan: a. Select a theory (name it) and explain how implementing that theory will prevent the incident from re-occurring [indicate all elements of the new security] b. Indicate what your role in personnel selection, preemployment screening, hiring, and training should be–and why it matters; c. Explain how you will assess the success of your new security plan.
