READING LOGS: Read the following: “The Sympathizer” pages 1-10 and then 11-20. separate reading logs for each. Now complete your reading log. Here are the instructions: A reading log is where you use the prompts to write about how you felt while reading, especially for writing about the passages that came easiest for you and the passages you had difficulty with. Remember that the reading log must be based on your experience reading this text only. This means that I do not want you talking about experiences outside of the reading (“I was bored because the sun was out”), your own opinions on the reading’s arguments (“This author is wrong because”), or your own personal experiences related to the article (“This reminds me of when”).
