Feminism is dead

I cannot have any sources. The only source I can use is the PDF book that I am sharing with you. I need this to be rewritten to how my professor wants it to be. This is what I wrote below:

Woman #1: I’ve never felt oppressed as a woman; on the contrary, I’ve gotten many perks for being female. There’s nothing wrong with trying to accomplish equality, respect and independence. But it is bizarre to try and prove that men and women are the same, in my opinion. why are we trying to draw ourselves as such victims and men as such monsters? I strongly believe that you’re only a victim if you allow yourself to be. finally, something given to women by nature that men just don’t possess. that is to be a wife and mother…why do some people deny this. what is wrong with having a man take care of a woman if thats what she wants. how is that oppression or inequality?

Me: I had to disagree with you on that one. Feminism is extremely important. Feminism allows equal opportunities for both sexes. The issue is with gender issues for the feminists that do not want biological men/boys in traditional women’s spaces or sports. It is extremely important that we keep women’s spaces safe. It is also important to protect girls from people practicing FGM on girls. Women are oppressed in some countries because of FGM. FGM is called Female genital mutilation, which is the cutting of all the external female genitalia. This practice is mainly practiced in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. FGM can cause extreme bleeding and later cysts and infections. It also causes complications in childbirth and a high risk in newborn deaths. I think FGM is riduculous because there are no health benefits to it. It involves removing and damaging healthy genital issues. This interferes with the natural functions of women’s bodies. If a woman’s genitals are being damaged, then she cannot fulfill their traditional roles as a “wife” and a “mother.”
