Good Morning Classmates,

I think that the portfolio that stood out the most to me was Hanna’s the nursing one. They were all impressive and made me rethink mine and want to start all over. While they were all interesting and informative Hanna’s to me was the most personal and easy to read. I like her pictures and the way her pages were laid out. I also really like the hospitality professional one by Patience it is so pretty! I am still working in the hospitality industry right now, so I related to this one a lot. Seeing all of her pictures of are gorgeous but people often forget how much does into decorating for a wedding or a party boy is it a lot.

Pt. 2

Hi there,

My name is Emily Stafford, and I am 29-year-old Florida native. For the last 19 months I have been working towards my BS in Law Enforcement Operations with a concentration in forensics. My end goal is to work for the medical examiner’s office as an investigator. Step one of the plan which is to obtain my bachelors degree is almost done, I graduate April 2022!

When it comes to work or a commitment, I am very reliable, I would say almost to the point where I am a bit of a push over. It is hard for me to say no when asked if I am able to help out.  When we are short staffed, or someone needs time off I am always the first to volunteer my aide. Right now I am a bartender while working through school. I am always early, and never call off. Whenever there is food that needs to be brought to a table, I am always eager to take it. This is just how I work; I cannot stand by if I know that I can be of help. I see bartending and serving as being very similar to being a small business owner. I am responsible for my customers experience, monetary transactions and am able to multitask. As hard as the work is over serving or bartending the skills, I have learned are irreplaceable. Time management is the skill that I believe I have perfected in the years I have been working in the service industry. There is a constant task list always running in my head, I am very proud that I have gotten to a point where I make very few mistakes and rarely forget things anymore. It was not always like that I used to forget things a lot when I was still learning time management and multitasking. I put my work before my own needs, instead of taking time to rest when I need to, I say yes to coming in on my days off. A new job could see that I am reliable, I keep my word when given and I am a quick learner.
