In the process of building an information system to provide technology support for organizational business, requirements are gathered using standard methods and techniques. Commonly used techniques include the following: observation; analysis of organizational documents, joint requirement planning (JPR) workshop; questionnaire survey; interviews; focus group discussions, etc.It is important that representatives of all stakeholders are involved in the process of gathering requirements.

This assignment is aimed at review of requirement gathering study in the context of a specific project. Students are encouraged to use the project they are undertaking for assignment two and prepare a report about the method appropriate for requirement gathering. While specific details of the requirements are not expected to be included in this assignment, any constrains or other areas that would put the requirement gathering into a proper context should be mentioned. Study will include the preferred methods(s) or a combination of methods that could be used for requirements gathering for the proposed information system targeted in your project. Include the following in your submission.

1. a)Preferred method/methods and reasons for selecting this method(s).
2. b)A simple guide for data collection (e.g., questionnaire, interview schedule, or checklist for items to be covered in a JRP workshop.
