Each reaction paper includes two parts: Summarizing the material and detailing your reaction to it. Follow the detailed guidelines:

Part 1: A Summary of the Article

• Write an informative summary (about 400 words) of the selected article.
• Condense the content of the work by highlighting its main points and key supporting points.
• Summarize the material in your own words while keeping sense of all key aspects of the

  original work.

• Keep the summary objective and factual (without your subjective impression or personal

  reaction ).

• Use paraphrasing/interpret to illustrate important ideas instead of direct quotations from the

  work.

• Place the source in the list of reference (using APA style) at the end of paper.

Part 2: A Reaction (about 400 words) to the Article

Write a reaction to the author’s viewpoints, such as, reviewing the statement or claim, analyzing points and issues presented in the article. In your reaction, you will also analyze the use of propaganda, specifically identifying the devices and recognizing the aims.
