Description

– Two FULL pages, typed, double spaced. 12 point font. TWO reports = 4 total pages of content! 

– No sources need to be cited, but please include a link to the concert in the text.

– In the syllabus, you’ll find writing prompts and a sample paper from a previous class. Do use those as guides, but don’t write the questions in your paper. Just write about your thoughts on this performance and use some of the vocabulary that we’ll talk about. Did you dislike the show? That can be an interesting paper too.

– Include your name and class on the paper, but do not include a long header to try to write less in the text. Two FULL pages of text (for each report).

– The concert you choose must be at least an hour long. If it’s 55 minutes, that’s ok. If it’s 45, that’s too short. 60+ minutes is preferred.

– The concerts you choose don’t have to be the genres we discuss. Love metal music or traditional Irish music? Me too, but we’re not going to spend a ton of time talking about it in class. You can choose to watch those for the concerts. The two concerts you pick must be in different genres. Rock and jazz, world music and classical – whatever you’d like, but they must be in contrasting styles.
