Thesis statement: Despite research revealing that vaping is addictive and poses numerous effects to the lungs; individuals are still unaware of its effects.

Vaping refers to breathing in and out vapor containing nicotine and other flavors that work similarly. Typically, the vapor is created by an electronic cigarette and is usually taken in using vaping devices. Science has revealed that vaping is detrimental to the lungs, but individuals do not fully understand the dangers it poses to the human lungs. Some of the dangers of vaping include the fact that e-cigarettes contain acrolein, leading to lung injury, asthma, and other lung infections (Triantafyllou, 2019). Besides, diacetyl, a chemical used in enhancing flavor, affects the passageways to the lungs. Lastly, vaping has effects like those of smoking, leading to the development of deadly diseases such as cancer. Generally, the damages posed by vaping exceed the benefits, and it is for this reason that the researcher argues that vaping poses more risks than benefits to human lungs. Individuals assume that vaping has no effects, and therefore shedding more light on the effects of vaping will help create awareness. The goal of this paper is to provide detailed insights on the effects of vaping on the lungs and show how repeated cases affect overall health. To support my thesis statement, I will describe the dangers of vaping to the lungs and weigh them with the positive effects of the act. I will also support my arguments with research statistics, personal observations and experiences, facts, suggestions, and examples.
