OBJECTIVE
The objective of this project is to design a magazine spread using InDesign. The magazine spread should integrate type and image in a dynamic and interesting composition.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Deliverables: 1 magazine spread saved as a high-res spread PDF. Software: Adobe InDesign
Imagery: Any images pertaining to your feature story
Copy: Article text, author of the article, date and page number. Color: Full color
Size: The magazine size is (8″ × 10″). A spread is 2 pages side by side. Set up your document as 2 facing pages.

• Ability to manipulate typographic legibility attributes by customizing character spacing
(kerning, leading, tracking) and customizing hyphenation and justification
• Ability to choose photographs and edit copy to create dynamic design compositions
• Enable researching of existing magazine features spreads and dissecting its visual elements
RESTRICTIONS
• Project must be done in InDesign
• Avoid poor design layouts that do not integrate type an image • Limit typefaces to 3 max
