As American citizens, you have the ability and right to have private property. On the other hand, not everyone on the globe enjoys this privilege. People around the world view private property differently. In this unit, you will review positions involving use and ownership of private property and how ethics are influenced by this effort. Consider the multicultural and diversity  concepts you might encounter when discussing private property regulations around the globe.

Using your favorite search engine, research and write a 4–6-page paper arguing for or against private property. This can include a discussion of tangible and intangible property, including patents. First, provide background information clearly noting both sides of the issue. Then, take a stance and argue your position. Include recent, relevant research to support your claims. Cite all resources and use APA formatting guidelines. Consider the multicultural and diversity concepts you might encounter when discussing private property regulations around the globe. Discuss how you would also bridge cultural differences regarding private property regulations of various countries. In addition, how would you build relationships with countries that might have different views regarding private property?
