1. What is the study idea/gist;
2. What are the variables? Label whether they are IV or DV. How are they operationalized?
3. How did the researchers control for confounds? Are there other confounds and how would you fix these?

Part 2 – Imagine you are a sexologist and have identified an unanswered question in the field.

1. What is the research question?
2. Describe a study to answer the research question.
3. What is your method? (e.g., case study, survey, direct observation, experimental method?)
4. What are your variables and how are they measured?
5. What are the potential confounds/problems and how would you deal with those?
