Best practice describes a method or technique that is known to consistently produce optimal and efficient results. Best practice represents the most efficient course of action in a particular setting or scenario. Generally, best practices are dictated by a higher-level authority, such as management.

Best practices stand as a general guideline for action in a wide variety of scenarios. A list of best practices might be given to employees as a guideline to completing work or tasks in the most efficient manner. Although generally best practices simply dictate a guideline, in some cases best practices must be followed as a necessary requirement of a particular task.

Create a best practices summary document on a safety topic of your choice (developing and implementing a COVID-19 health and safety plan for a company). Your best practices summary must contain current information on the following items:

• Why a best practices summary is needed in your topic area
• Who is affected by the topic area that you have chosen;
• What are the best practices for your topic area;
• How the best practices should be implemented (for example, training, equipment, policies, procedures, etc.); and,
• What are the primary sources that you will rely on to evidence that your best practices are valid (your reference list).

The minimum required length of this paper is three (3) pages, not including the title page and reference page. Prepare this best practice document as an essay using APA format. A title page and reference list in APA format is required. You do not need to include an abstract.
