Covid 19 review paper

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS Cov 2) is a pathogenic virus transmitted from person to person through salivary droplets emitted through sneezes or coughs from an infected person, a healthy person. The disease is life-threatening to humans worldwide as an acute respiratory disease and is commonly known as Covid-19 (Hu, Guo, Zhou & Shi 2021). However, virus entry and the ability to cause infection to uninfected humans depends on several factors. Firstly, the virus enters and binds itself to the cell surface of the receptor human before proceeding to other cell regions (Sang et al., 2020). Once attached, the virus precedes to the endosome, after which it binds or fuses itself to the membrane of the lysosome.

Additionally, Covid 19, like most other viruses, has undergone genetic changes, which are mainly initiated by geographical drifts as the disease spreads. However, the most common question individuals fail to question is how the virus mutates (Callaway 2020). Moreover, the ability to depict the viral components that changes and the rate at which the mutating components occur as such knowledge may highly reduce the severity of the virus (Callaway 2020). Therefore, such questions prompted me to come up with the following hypothesis; to evaluate the effect of SAR CoV 19’s mutating components on the severity of the virus.
