to inform your audience WHY this trend

is a part of pop culture. That is the

whole point. You’re not explaining what’s

your favorite pop culture or you’re not

comparing and contrasting between the

Iphone 6 and the Iphone 7; instead, you’re

telling me why this particular trend is

popular right now. Here’s a list of some

pop culture trends that you may want to

write about. You are not limited to the

list that’s written on this slide.

However, if you would like to write about

something other than what’s on this

slide, I would recommend emailing me to

make sure that your topic is appropriate

and approved before getting started. This

list is just basically to help you start

brainstorming. One major component about

how to pick your pop culture trend topic

is the research that you can find on the

database articles. Remember, you are not

just googling your research so not all

topics will be found on the database

articles.
