Carefully review The Ethics and Politics of Social Research reading and identify the ethical principles and considerations it describes. Once you are done, you should review the assigned videos about social science research and identify which ethical principles each violated. The first video is The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment and the second video is The Stanford Prison Experiment.

You need to identify two ethical issues from each experiment, meaning that you need to identify four ethical issues in total.

For each issue you identify, please:

1. Describe the issue. Please mention which experiment it comes from and thoroughly explain what happened.
2. Identify which ethical principle it violated and why. You need to specifically reference the ideas presented in the reading. Please quote and cite the reading (including the page number) to support your claims This is not just a question of what you personally think the researchers did wrong, it’s a question of what they did wrong based on the ideas from the reading. 
3. Explain how the issue could have been avoided. What should the researchers have done differently?
