Marketing plan of Shoppers entering The Chinese market

the general outline of the marketing plan will be provided. Students select an existing company in Canada and their product(s) or service(s) and then select a foreign market to enter. Students then develop their mission statement and objectives, conduct the situation analysis (including company, competitor, and customer analysis), develop the segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies, and the marketing mix (i.e., the 4Ps) strategy as well. The marketing plan report will be turned in as a written document. Use Times New Roman of size 12 point, 2 lines spacing, left-justified, 1-inch margins on all sides. APA citation format is recommended.

As competitors of Shoppers in The Chinese market, I choose LAWSON, 7-11, and Wumart (a large supermarket in China).

Need to analyze the macro and microenvironment, and do a comprehensive analysis of the microenvironment, including politics, economy, society, technology, and external environment. Analyze China’s market system, laws, and regulations on foreign enterprises entering China. The prospect of development in The Chinese market and the problems faced and countermeasures. Competitors and replacements also need to be considered.
