Based on the reading you do, develop a question that interrogates your topic and then write a paper that responds to that question and relays the research you have done. This paper asks you to engage your critical thinking skills and to be able to articulate your thought process in a well-laid out manner. You will be graded both on the content of what you write and the manner in which you write it; which means that grammar, spelling, and sentence structure count. If I cannot understand what you are saying in the manner in which it is written, I cannot possibly understand the entirety of your message.
