This assignment asks that you write about three objects/artworks at the North Carolina Museum of Art from time periods that i have studied (Prehistoric, Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Early Christian, Byzantine, Early Medieval, Romanesque, Gothic, Art up till 1400 CE)   You will focus on one primary artwork and add two others for context. You will write a wall-text of about 300-words describing and educating the public about a work of art. In this text, you should tell us something about the the artwork and its context. It should be very well written, concise, and directed at both a casual audience and a knowledgeable reader. You will need to research the culture, the artwork and situate it into its larger historical moment in terms of its style, subject matter, or meaning. Your two additional artworks will comparative examples as context to your principal object. You can choose these two context artwork from teh collection of the NCMA or another museum.
