Craft a one-page summary of your research study. See description below.

The topic or issue must be within the purview of psychology as you attempt to explore phenomena, treatments, and treatment

efficacy within the field of psychology.  In your topic summary, please introduce the general subject matter (The Effects of Parental

Manipulation and Over-Control on Adult Children), some background from the discipline of psychology, and what you intend to

explore/what new knowledge you plan to uncover.  Please include some insight on why this topic is important to you and why you

are inspired to study it further.  Remember that you are designing an actual study and not simply reviewing existing literature. Your

selected topic will guide your future assignments in the course so choose this topic wisely. Describe which research method you will utilize whether qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods approach. Please state that I will be using the mixed methods approach 

and use that for purposes of this paper. Thank you.
