Comparison and contrast between two famous strikes that have taken place in the United States. There will be specific things that must be contrasted and the implications of the outcomes will also be analyzed. Stikes to be analyzed are:  The UPS Workers Strike of 1997 and the U.S Postal Strike of 1970.Must answer the following questions:

1.What is the difference between the two strikes that you chose?

2. How does the management treatment of employees or labor in one strike different from the other?

3. What are the commonalities of the two strikes that you chose?

4. What are the significant differences that set the two apart?

5. What was the cause of the strikes?

6. What could management have done differently to avoid the strikes if possible?

7. What was the outcome of the strikes?

8. Whom would you consider to be the winner; management, labor, or both?

Use the above questions to develop your paper, but thepaper should not be a series of questions and answers

Must include thesis statement, appropriate openingbody and conclusion but these section titles are not to be part of paper

• The paper must be 9 full pages not including title page, ancillary pages, or resources. (Resources need to be last page so annotated bibliography can be written from sources used).
• There must be at least five resources, must be five academic or professional sources which can be viewed without a subscription.
• Sources must be clearly documented and cited.
• No lengthy quotes. Any thing over 25-30 words is too long. Must paraphrase and cite.
  
• The paper must be in APA format.  Times Roman, 12 font.
• Be sure to state laws affecting each (and cite appropriately)
