Comment:

I spoke with a coworker about this particular topic ans she was in agreement with the statement. I asked her why and she said that the wrong people are often involved in the decision-making process. I think that I can agree with that especially with a lot of the things that happen around our facility. I think that if they spoke with staff before making operational decision then things would be a lot better than they are especially when it comes to taking care of residents. We have a list of clients that we have to get up early in the morning and they want all of them up at a certain time in order to eat breakfast on time but in order to get these residents up on time, some have to get up earlier than usual to get bathed and dressed. This has to be done because everyone have several to get ready but all of them want to wait to get up but still be on time' which is a problem because residents act up and we have to care for them and deal with their anger.
