The Oral Presentation, which you shall prepare using the ESRI Story Map, should

contain four (4) elements:

1) an Introduction with a Research Question, basically the MSGA candidate explains

why this topic is important in terms of a specific context and the application of a

theoretical approach in the International Relations or Conflict Resolution literature to

explain that context; Please state the primary research question above explicitly.

2) the Literature Review in which the MSGA candidate demonstrates familiarity with

the Literature in the area of her research as well as indicate how the analysis intends to

fill a Gap in the Literature; Address specifically the gap your research is filling.

What is missing in the Literature? Cite at least 15 sources in the Oral

Presentation please. (Books, chapters, journal articles, interviews, policy

statements, testimonies (autobiographical materials of leaders, videos)

3) a Methodology section in which the MSGA candidate explains the lens or theory to

be utilized to frame his or her analysis; Be quite specific in terms of the approach or

theory you intend to use to frame your analysis please. Neoliberalism (explain

why this lens is significant in your research)

and 4) a Historical Background, which provides the context for the MSGA candidate's

research. Choose a specific time period to set the context for your research
