2. Create a new thread in this forum addressing the following by 11:59PM Sunday, 11/28 (60% of assignment grade, see rubric).

• Describe at least one aspect of experimentalism in Cage’s Sonata V, from Sonatas and Interludes and provide detailed support (30%).
• Provide an additional example from Part 6 or Part 7 (not Cage’s Sonatas and Interludes) where a composer uses an instrument (any sound producing object) in an inventive or experimental way (30%). Please include the:
  • composer (and/or performer)
  • title of music composition
  • at least one aspect of how the composer treats the instrument experimentally
  • link to an audio file or video (or ILG number if applicable) so that others may hear and/or see what you are describing.
