By now you should be enrolled in your group and should be aware of all your group members. 

You and your group members are part of an event company. In Part 1 of this assignment the group will create a ‘vision & plan’ document  for an event by answering the following questions/prompts:  

1. Prepare a name and logo for your Event Company.
   Explain how the group came up with this unique name and share the inspiration (thought process) behind the name of your event company. 
   
2. Outline the who, what, where, when, why of the event you are preparing for and how many guests are expected at your event (minimum 20 guests).
   Provide a detailed description of the event including what exactly the event is, the number of guests expected, who is hosting the event, the name of the event, purpose/vision/goal of the event, and highlight other key details of the event. 
3. Using the internet, find a suitable event venue that will fit well for your event. You are permitted to use the Centennial College Event Centre if you like. (Ensure you add a link to the venue selected.)
   Explain the advantages of selecting this venue for your event and what challenges do you foresee of using this particular venue for the event planned?  
4. What kind of room setup will be used for this event?
   Explain why this particular setup would work best for the event planned and what challenges do you think you will face by choosing this setup for the event?
   Using the internet, attach a sourced reference image to best understand what the setup is expected to look like. 
5. What kind of furniture will be used for this event?
   Explain why the selected furniture would work best for the event planned and what challenges do you think you will face by choosing this furniture for the event?  
   Using the internet, attach a sourced reference image to best understand what the furniture is expected to look like.
6. Name and explain what type of linen, style and colour will be used for the chair covers, table cloths, napkin folds and any other linen that will be used for the event.
   Using the internet, attach a sourced reference image to best understand what the linen is expected to look like. 

Once the assignment is ready and finalized, host a 15-20 minute online Zoom meeting to summarize and present the document as if you were presenting it to me, your Professor. Each member must answer one of the above questions in the recording meeting, other members can also support the group member if any key information has been missed out. All members must participate in both creating the assignment and the recorded zoom meeting. 

Think of the Zoom Meeting as if you and your group members are presenting the assignment to your Professor/Instructor and avoid reading from the slides/document, instead explain the topic that is being covered.
