A documented analysis of an Art & Cultural organization’s current or previous public product or service and corresponding user experience (PSE) product release timeline with established user/audience/patron/ customer base, examining the A&C entity’s core product or service design, product strategy, product versions, user/customer cohorts, user experience, go to market strategy, and product release roadmap for the PSE in depth. Each student is requested to identify, analyze, review in detail, and assess an established Art & Cultural entity’s current or previously released product, service, and corresponding user experience (PSE) with an established user base and patron audience and generate a corresponding product roadmap reflecting the findings of their research. 

a) Full Product Portfolio Roadmap: Identify, research, evaluate, analyze, and document an in-depth analysis and findings summary of a selected company’s full PSE’s product portfolio including all product lines and identifying product versions, intended/actual user base for each within a product roadmap;

b) Top/Best Product or Service: Identify, research, evaluate, analyze, and document all users, cohorts, and user/customer bases associated with the company’s highest-value PSE (to consumers, via volume sales, product longevity, number of versions, consumer appeal, etc.) PSE, both targeted and unanticipated;

c) Compare Strategies: develop & define the inferred, intended, and/or targeted Product Strategy for both the company’s full product portfolio, including all lines and their top/best specific PSE offering, comparing the two, and determining if the same strategy applies or if a different strategy or innovation cycle was defined for the top/best PSE offering;

d) Provide Analysis & Findings: Summarize research, analysis, and evaluation information and findings into a documented summary (Word, PDF) and presentation (PowerPoint, Keynote) and submit by the delivery date


  • A detailed description of one (1) successful and one (1) failed consumer product, service, and corresponding user experience (PSE),
  • description of the consumer product, service, and corresponding user experience, the manufacturer’s or designer’s market focus and intended (targeted) user, market and audience, and the actual user base that purchased, consumed, and utilized the PSE;
  • comparison & measurement of each (successful & failed) product, service, or experience individually with the 23 ST criteria,
  • specification of why the identified PSE is successful or has failed, and
  • findings summary (results) of the comparison and any recommended improvements/enhancements achievable to further enhance the analyzed product, service, or experience’s value to users
  • illustrations, graphics, and screen captures of the products, services & user experiences evaluated within the assignment document that provides a linear story and illustrated summary of the products reviewed
