Answer the following questions:

• How do these stories present the same situation in a different way?
• Which of the stories do you prefer as a journalist? As a consumer? If you were one of Burrous’ surviving family members, friends or colleagues?
• Where do the stories lie on the Truth Continuum?
• Ultimately, which of these stories do you prefer and why?
• Consider your values concerning the right to privacy, obligation to loyalty, and the duty of truth-telling. How do these factor into your decision?
• Is it okay to violate privacy for the sake of truth-telling? Why or why not?

FORMATTING AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

You should include a works cited page that includes citations formatted using APA or MLA style for any sources used. Your completed paper should be 3-4 pages, double-spaced, margins not exceeding 1″ on all sides, in 12 point Calibri or Arial font, with each section of the paper clearly labeled with the case study as the heading. It should be saved as a Word (*.doc, *.docx) or PDF file.
