Comparative Analysis

The final assessment is a comparative analysis of two of the assigned readings from the HBR text. You can select the two readings for your comparative analysis. The assessment will be completed in a universal comparison format. Students will show that there are universal characteristics of leadership between the two approaches to/definitions of leadership in the HBR readings that you select. Your paper needs to accomplish the following:

• Develop a fundamental understanding of leadership within the context of the two readings
  • The understanding should show significant similarities and relevance between the two readings
• Provide a practical discussion on the implementation of this universal approach to leadership in the professional world
• Include a summative perspective on the leadership approaches discussed in both readings

Parameters for the paper are as follows:

• The paper’s length requirement is 10 pages of content, double-spaced
  • The cover page and references page do not count towards the total page count; there is no abstract page required
• The paper should follow APA format for in-text citations and the references page
• Students are expected to cite material from the HBR text as well as additional material covered during class
  • Additional, outside sources are not encouraged, but may be discussed separately with the professor
  • Though it is not part of the HBR readings, students may use information from the Robert K. Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership
• Students should use 12-point Times New Roman font for the paper
