Toddler Representative Case Study

For this representative Toddler Case Study you will focus on a child who is between 18 months and 3 years of age. You will be creating a ‘representative’ case study and do not need to observe an actual toddler for this assignment.

You will address three, specific areas of development along with the developmentally appropriate Florida Office of Early Learning Standards for this age group.

Write a summary (300 words) in each developmental area. This summary will focus on the typical development of this age, including typical behaviors and milestones and include a review of at least one theoretical perspective in each development area as noted in your textbook. Give a summary of the theory along with your reason for using this theory as a focus.

You will also explore the Florida Office of Early Learning (FLOEL) Interactive Standards to see examples of developmentally appropriate benchmarks for this age in each of three developmental domains
