2.     After watching the video, you classmate Lexi opinion was

“I watched the short clip "Our history of birth", in which Katherine Fobister tells the history of her community and birth. I learned that some Indigenous communities are nomadic and move with the seasons. This means, because the midwives stay on the reserve, that sometimes pregnant women will have to go through maternity or give birth without the help of a midwife.

This short clip sparked interest in me, and I was curious to learn more about Indigenous midwives. I learned from the clip titled "Aboriginal Midwifery Education" that there are 3 community-based Aboriginal midwifery education programs in Canada. After watching a few more of the videos, I also learned how important community is in midwifery, and how much of a fulfilling job it can be for Indigenous people within their communities!”  Make a comment on Lexi opinion max 5 lines.
