In any sector of business, having a good rapport and foundation with stakeholders can provide to be imperative to the success. The mission and vision statements are used to inspire stakeholders to participate in the development of projects, programs, or companies as a whole (Geier, 2019). A mission state is used to define the purpose while the vision statement explains the goals for the future and what the company, intervention, program, or policies hopes to achieve (Geier, 2019). Heritage Village Assisted Living has a unique design where residents are housed in independent homes rather than a large facility to give a more home-like feeling. In addition to doing community outreach and trying to partner with local community vendors, Heritage village could host a “block party” type of venue on their private street and land to raise awareness for vulnerable, disabled, aging/elderly populations. This would help to bring the community together in a learning environment, extend community outreach, but provide a fun event to bring awareness to the facility as well. Heritage Village has expressed being committed to delivering a “WOW” experience, remaining flexible and teachable, building staff synergy, and creating fun, smiles, and laughter. All of these qualities would be evident in the event and give the company the opportunity to network and build stronger community relationships.
