Write a two-page minimum, five-page maximum double-spaced discussion summary of the articles that include answers to the following questions:

• What sport and topic of interest was reviewed?
• What were the purposes and main findings of the articles you read?
• What are the similarities and differences of the findings in the articles you read?
• Are the findings of the articles generalizable to practice in populations you have or will work with?
• What are the main takeaways for sports studies professionals?
  • Include what you learned, not using the first person, and future directions or questions that you think should be asked in the future

For all Discussion Papers, please adhere to the following guidelines:

• Avoid the use of personal pronouns including I, you, we, etc. There are other ways of conveying opinions and information that are less informal.
• In general, try not to use more than one direct quote per page of writing. It is best practice to paraphrase, not using more than 3 words in a row from the original source, and to cite the reference.
• Citations should be included within the text (general guidelines are to cite it the first time you use it and/or at the end of the paragraph summarizing content from a particular article) and within a formal references section at the end of the paper.
