Demonstrate your understanding about incarceration in the U.S. and Norway. 

Instructions

For this week’s discussions, using only lecture, videos and readings made available to you in this week’s module, please answer in your own words (no plagiarism) the following questions (to be completed by Wednesday, November 24 no later than 8 pm):

– What is the role of prison in the U.S. and in Norway? What might they approach those institutions in starkly opposite ways? What are the consequences on the lives of citizens in both countries?

(I expect everybody to rely on the readings to answer with roughly 200-250 words – this discussion will be graded based on the clarity, details and critical aspect of your answers). NO peer replies this week.
