Mid Term Project

Assume the role of a manager assessing a vendor’s competency for providing outsourcing services and analyzing the vendor’s home country. You will write a paper with these required sections.

The current status of the outsourcing industry in “Country X” (Note: where “X” is replaced by country name) by size, growth, types of outsourcing services provided, key service providers, major customers served, number of locations, etc.
The current outsourcing environment in “Country X” including the geographic, size and growth trends, population, education system, government vision and policy, technology infrastructure and country risk assessment (e.g. economy, work force, education system, infrastructure status, environmental conditions, government attitude towards the outsourcing industry, regulations, etc.).
Two of the primary outsourcing services in “Country X,” including the industry market segment size and growth trends and examples of key customers.
A brief description of top service provider in “Country X:” name, services provided, size, growth, competitive differentiators, value proposition(s) of service provider, etc.
The major problems, opportunities and competition faced by “Country X” relative to outsourcing.
