Here is your third text analysis. Start by reading the extract below. Your tasks in this assignment are as follows: • to identify the work from which the passage was drawn, • to provide an overview of the historical and cultural context in which the work first appeared, • to situate the passage in the context of the work from which it was drawn, • to explain the importance of the passage to the work as a whole, and • to critique the passage and the work. Use your favorite word processing software to write your analysis. You will then use the "Submissions" folder on our BB Learn site to submit your papers. Do not send any assignment via email. E-mail messages with assignments or attachments will be deleted without being read. You may submit papers in any of the following formats: .doc, .docx (MS Word) .odt (OpenOffice) .swd (StarOffice) .rtf (Rich Text Format, recommended for Mac users) Files in PDF format or .pages format (which is popular on iPads) are not acceptable. Other requirements for all text analyses • Your analysis should be around 750 words in length. • You analysis must be at least 600 words in length, and no more than 900 words in length.
