Essentially, a social media platform in an organization is to develop a relationship amongst a community or group of people to have a connection for organizations to be able to share successes of the organizations, performance measures and how the organization is working to further improve their strategic direction and allows an organization to showcase their organization and the products and services they provide to acquire new customers and vendors and investors to want to support their endeavors and growth.

Employees need to understand the importance of taking advantage of opportunities with Human Resources and Management to participate in exit interviews be provided an opportunity to provide honest feedback from employees who are seeking other employment to identify areas of improvement that are suggested and use this information to incorporate positive results for present employees to determine ways to retain their employees.
Negative media can make or break your organizational reputation within the blink of an eye if not resolved in a timely fashion so quick responses are needed from organizational communicators on social media reviews posted and ensuring these responses related to issues remain factual without judgement on the parties involved and communicating what you know and how you are working to resolve the issue being addressed.
Having Technology accessible is important to obtain real time solutions to problems that may arise from media and have documented information at an organizations fingertips to be able to provide solutions more efficiently verses rather than obtaining archived information due to not having the required technology to gain information in a timely fashion to avoid further infractions on the reputation of the organization.
HR role in the future will be to continue to utilize the social media platform to develop more effective recruitment strategies to offer opportunities beyond just the capacity of identifying potential candidates but utilizing these platforms as a driving force to attract, brand, and retain employees and broaden the audience(Petre, Stegerean & Gavrea, 2017). Monitoring the data and feedback received from employees will support these strategies and implement the needed change to improve the HR processes and systems to support the organizational growth and improving the culture of the employees and the organization.
