I’m working on a Communications writing question and need guidance to help me understand better.

one-page proposal that 1) describes the technical process you are going to explain, 2) describes the context and the audience for such a presentation and 3) describes the visual aids you are going to spend the following week developing which my choice was “3D printing in construction”.

• be sufficiently detailed and involved (not just one or two steps)
• require some level of knowledge or expertise to execute (not something the vast majority of people can do, e.g., tying shoes, making scrambled eggs, etc.)
• be something that benefits from step-by-step visual demonstration (not something that leans toward the abstract and non-visual, e.g. how to be a leader, how to manage time well)
• Describe the context and audience for presentationBased on the process, describe the context and the audience for which you will be presenting. Will it be coworkers, students, employees at a company, etc? Be as detailed as you can about this audience and their knowledge of the process you will be explaining.
• describe the visual aids you will prepare and explain why they are appropriate/relevantBased on the process and the context of your presentation, describe the visual aids you will be using. You must use some form of visual aids for this presentation, though they don’t necessarily have to be slides. What visual aids help you convey your message and illustrate the process?Visual aids can include:
  • step-by-step images / illustrations
  • a slide deck combining images and text
  • a video demonstration (manipulating an object / demonstrating steps live)
  • some combination of the above
