Students will produce a 3-page (DO NOT EXCEED 3 pages) comparison/contrast paper on the roles and responsibilities of a school psychologist, school psychometrist, psychometrist (in private practice/community setting) and psychologists (in private practice/community setting). In the paper, students will examine the history of the school psychometrist and how and why there has become such a need for this position in the school setting. Also, students will examine how the psychometrists’ roles and responsibilities in private practice differ from that of the psychologists’ roles and responsibilities in private practice. Other items to address in paper: What are the limitations of school and community/private practice psychometrists in relation to school and community/private practice psychologists? What are the differences in educational requirements for each position? This assignment is intended to help students become more familiar with psychometric professions and the roles of each profession either in the school setting or private setting (community).

1. Assignment must have a cover page (centered). The cover page must include: name, date, course number and title, assignment name, and university.

2. Assignment should be written in Times New Roman, 12-font, double-spaced, style (no spacing).

3. Student should have 4 headings within paper: Roles and Responsibilities of School Psychologist, Roles and Responsibilities of School Psychometrist, Roles and Responsibilities of Psychologist in Community/Private Practice, and Roles and Responsibilities of Psychometrist in Community/Private Practice.

4. Student should have a minimal of 4 sources. Multiple sources are better. Sources must come from professional journals (NO website articles-points will be deducted).
