Your paper should include: Describe your social problem. What is it? Who is involved? What do we know about this social problem? This should be a description and short literature review of the problem you have selected. Next apply the social theory. Describe and explain the theory, and apply it to your social problem. How would a sociologist using this theory describe the social problem? How does the theory suggest the problem perpetuates itself? What important points should we understand when using this theory on this problem? Finally, using what you know about the problem, and what you know about the social theory, propose a solution to the social problem. Your solution should be based in research and the theoretical principals of your social theory.
