In your readings for this week, you discovered many business systems exist in many forms, depending on an organization’s goals. You have also examined the ways organizations adapt to modernizing business environments and the challenges of being innovative in individual and corporate environments.

Some systems are designed for risk management, while others are designed for continuity and include processes or procedures. To understand a business’s systems, analysts must use a framework to examine those systems. SWOT analysis is one such framework. Another framework is the Business Model Analysis method presented in one of this week’s readings, Gaspareto & Henriqson (2020). Utilizing that model (summarized in the Dimensions Analysis column of figure 3 in that article) along with the knowledge you learned from your other readings, diagnose two company’s business models. The companies can be a grocery store, a restaurant, or a large company like Amazon. While conducting this diagnosis consider yourself in charge of ensuring these systems function properly and have the flexibility to deal with possible changes in the business’s environment.

Using your knowledge and additional research in the Academic Success Center, create an APA paper that includes the following:

• A title page
• Three content pages (add the headings below)
• Introduction
• Company 1’s name and background
• Business Model Analysis
• Company 2’s name and background
• Business Model Analysis
• Your Conclusion
• Your Reference page (begins on a new page)

Length: 5-7 pages, excluding title and reference pages.

References: Include a minimum of 4 scholarly resources.

The completed assignment should address all of the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations and current APA standards, and adhere to Northcentral University’s Academic Integrity Policy.
