OBJECTIVES

Personality Assessment Primary Task Response: Complete the following steps for this DB:

Step 1: Please take the Jung Typology TestTM to assess your personality type.

Step 2: Based on the results of your personality test, within the Discussion Board area, write 200–300 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions with your classmates. Be clear and use examples to reinforce your ideas.

• Identify your personality type (e.g., INFJ).
• Identify and explain at least 2 characteristics of your personality type (e.g., discuss 2 letters of INFJ and what they indicate about your personality).
• Explain whether you agree or disagree with your results on the personality test. Provide an example that supports why you agree or disagree with your results.
• Discuss how you would work with someone in a team setting who has a different personality than you.

Responses to Other Students: Respond to at least 2 of your fellow classmates with at least a 100-word reply about their Primary Task Response regarding items you found to be compelling and enlightening. To help you with your discussion, please consider the following questions:

• What insights did you gain about personality from reading your classmates’ personality types?
• What are some of the differences between your personality style and your fellow classmates’ personality style?
• Is there a personality type that you feel would be hard to work with? Why?
• What are some of the differences and similarities that you see between your posting and your classmates’ postings? How can you use the differences to advance the discussion?
